Tuesday, June 29, 2010 A New Mutual Fund Player Hires a Sales Chief Thesis Fund Management, which entered the '40 Act industry in March with the rollout of its alternative mutual fund, has brought in a head of sales. New York-based Thesis hired Peter Pancare as senior vice president, said Thesis CEO Stephen Roseman in an interview with The MutualFundWire. Boston-based Pancare previously worked at Hatteras Funds, which he joined via the firm's acquisition of AIP Mutual Funds. Pancare, who is also an alum of Aetna Funds and Fidelity, leads a team of five wholesalers at Thesis. Meanwhile, the Thesis Flexible Fund has landed on TD Ameritrade and Vanguard's mutual fund platforms. The fund is likewise available through other supermarkets such as Schwab and Fidelity.
