Those questions and more were pondered yesterday at the New York Times Building in Manhattan at a "Progressive Think Tank" meeting of the Investment Managers & Advisors Alliance. Legg Mason Capital Management's chief investment strategist, Michael Mauboussin, spoke to the attendees. IMAA founder Ken Gutwillig, who helps run an RIA in the Big Apple, confirmed that more than 24 people attended the event. The IMAA launched last year from the ashes of Remora to connect advisors and asset managers, particularly in light of the recent market turmoil.
