Monday, June 7, 2010 Turner Bags an Investing Pro Turner Investments has hired Christopher Baggini as senior portfolio manager and security analyst for its growth equity team. Baggini, 46, reports to Turner chairman and chief investment Bob Turner and will serve as lead portfolio for a new non-'40 Act product at Turner, a long-short offering called Turner Titan. Previously, Baggini was the lead portfolio of the Aberdeen Equity Long-Short Fund. An Aberdeen spokesperson said other team members will assume Baggini's duties at the fund.
