Monday, May 3, 2010 Invesco Aim Rebrands As planned, Invesco Aim is now without "Aim." The rebranding of the Houston-based asset manager took effect Friday last week. "Because Invesco Aim's primary focus is providing you with access to Invesco's global money managers, we believe the time has come to formally acknowledge that we are Invesco," according to Invesco's Web site. The mutual funds have been rebranded from Aim to Invesco. The rebranding comes as Invesco is in the process of completing its acquisition of Morgan Stanley's retail asset management business, including Van Kampen Investments. The deal is expected to close June 1. Andrew Schlossberg, chief marketing officer of Invesco, told The MFWire in February that the Van Kampen funds will be called Invesco Van Kampen.
