For the First Time, Aberdeen Will Run Ads in the U.S.

Next Monday, Aberdeen Asset Management executives will do something they've never done before: roll out an ad campaign on U.S. shores. A company spokesperson confirmed to the The MFWire that Aberdeen is spending more than a million dollars on a six-week ad campaign that kicks off on Monday, April 12.

Aberdeen created the ads with New York-based Soubriet Byrne & Associates and Ogilvy Group UK in London.

The ads will run in print publications such as the Wall Street Journal and Barrons and on the online homes of WSJ, SmartMoney, RegisteredRep and Financial Planning.

"The 'Useful tools' ad campaign explains the fundamental and mainstream equity investing style of Aberdeen around the world," according to the Aberdeen spokesperson.
