Monday, July 8, 2002 Do Go Back to Rockville Rydex Global Advisors has named two more professionals to its management team, a spokesperson with the firm told the MutualFundWire.com. The new executives are Wayne Cobb and Philip Nicolaou. Cobb will serve as vice president and chief technology officer at the firm. He most recently held a post at Thomson Wealth Management, where he was vice president of technology. At Rydex, he will be responsible for overseeing the firms infrastructure. He reports to Carl Verboncoeur, executive vice president, Rydex Fund Services. Nicolaou will be heading the sales force for the financial advisor community. He reports to Louis Foran, executive vice president of sales and marketing. He joins the firm from Charles Schwab where he was senior vice president of business stategy at the institutional unit. Nicolaou's predeccessor has taken another position in the firm while Cobb's has left Rydex to start his own consulting practice, according to the spokesperson.
