AFSS Partners with Boston Firm

The Academy of Financial Services Studies has formed a strategic alliance with Acadient to provide enhanced training and e-learning education services for financial services organizations. Both companies have online education services and with the alliance, they are going to act as each other's re-sellers.

"Both companies will benefit from the alliance because AFSS will now sell the Acadient mutual funds online and Acadient will now offer the fund accounting courses that AFSS provides," said a spokesperson at Acadient.

The Academy of Financial Services Studies also released its new Mutual Fund Accounting Specialist Certificate Program, and Acadient introduced enhancements to its Mutual Fund Industry Specialist Certificate Program, which was built in partnership with the National Investment Company Service Association.

"By virtue of this alliance, we are achieving a meaningful expansion of the products and services our respective firms offer the financial services industry. This applies especially in the realm of today's all-important e-learning for financial industry training," explained Rochelle Lamm, chairman and ceo of The Academy of Financial Services Studies.

"Now, by jointly marketing the Mutual Fund Industry Specialist Certificate Program and the Mutual Fund Accounting Specialist Certificate Program, our firms are providing financial services industry employees with the opportunity for a new comprehensive level of professional achievement and recognition."
