Artisan Closes Funds Doors


Artisan has closed its Mid Cap Fund to most new investors. The fund closed after reaching $2.2 billion in assets under management. The fund will continue to accept new investments from existing shareholders.

Wasatch Seals Fund Doors

Wasatch Funds is ignoring the standard practice of letting existing shareholders make new investments into closed funds. The firm will shutter the Wasatch Core Growth fund and the Wasatch Small Cap Value fund to existing shareholders on March 28. Both funds are already closed to new investors.

Magner Wins Jefferson Pilot Contract

Jefferson Pilot Financial will use Magner Retirement Services' web-based services to support its non-qualified deferred compensation and Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERP) programs. The programs are distributed through intermediaries, said Bill Seawell, senior vice president-marketing for Jefferson Pilot Financial.
