Mackenzie Restructures Communications

Mackenzie Financial of Toronto has tapped Delano Technology for its Velocity Marketing system. Mackenzie made this selection as part of its efforts to restructure its electronic communications.

With this new system, Mackenzie can customize its statement delivery process and send statements to clients in a form they prefer. Customers can decide on the format of their statements -- such as receiving them electronically -- and can subscribe to documents that they want.

"This is a great opportunity for us to provide better service, streamline our processes and reduce costs all at the same time," stated Scott Sinclair, senior vice president of e-commerce at Mackenzie. "This is an ongoing issue in our industry and clients run the spectrum from those who don't want anything to those who want it all. Now they will have a choice."

"We like the flexibility and speed of implementation that Delano brings to the table," he added. "We have a clear definition of what we need the system to do now but we also anticipate a need for it to integrate with other systems in the future. Delano is very adept at plugging into new systems and databases which gives us a lot of confidence in their ability to meet our future needs."
