Invesco's getting the dunce caps out. The fund company has decided that its growth fund and variable investment growth fund will essentially be run by committee. The two funds have gone through a bumpy stretch recently, and the firm has decided to reassign responsibilities for the management of the fund. They will be managed by Timothy Miller, Peter Lovell, and Fritz Meyer.

Russell Hires for Real Estate

Frank Russell has tapped RREEF of Chicago to manage two real estate securities fund assignments. RREEF was hired for the Frank Russell Investment Company's Real Estate Securities Fund and Russell Insurance Funds' Real Estate Securities Fund. RREEF joins AEW Capital Management and Security Capital.
