Managers Taps Subadvisor

Norwalk, Connecticut-headquartered Managers has tapped Bernstein Investment Research to be the subadvisor for its international equity fund (MGITX). Bertnstein is one of three subadvisors for the fund.

Mastholm Asset Management and Zurich Scudder are the other two subadvisors. All three manage separate portions of the fund.

"We feel that Bernstein's traditional value philosophy fits well with the Fund's two other sub-advisors. We like Bernstein's International Strategic Value style, which, while relatively concentrated for an international process, adds diversification by style, sector and security to our Fund," stated Thomas Hoffman, director of research for Managers.

The agreement will take effect immediately. Bernstein was acquired by Alliance Capital in 2000.
