Capital Trust Lands SVP

Capital Trust Company of Delaware (CTC) has named Robert Eaddy as senior vice president corporation trust and transaction services, Jeffrey Lauterbach, chairman and ceo at the CTC, told the MutualFundWire.com. Eaddy joins the firm from JP Morgan Chase where he was vice president of institutional trust services in Philadelphia.

Trust and transactional services are relatively new businesses for CTC. "[Eaddy's] institutional trust experience and proven marketing imagination are the right ingredients to build a new line of business for CTC. To have someone of this caliber from major organizations join us is quite an achievement for us. We were able to lure him away because of the opportunities he saw here," Lauterbach contended.

Eaddy will report to Lauderbach. He will head up the firm's first true focused effort in trust and transactional businesses. "Bob will be developing educational programs and creating a special section on our website," Lauderbach reported concerning some of Eaddy's early duties.

Eaddy has also had positions as vice president and business development officer at PNC Bank and Mellon Bank and as an assistant vice president for Citibank.
