This is the first time the service has been offered in Canada. The system allows mutual fund prospectuses immediately available to investors through e-mail. Investors have access to the prospectus as soon as they receive an e-confirmation of their mutual fund purchases. The confirmation contains a hyperlink, which directs them to a secure website. Executives at NewRiver state that their platform contains complete mutual fund compliancei information. The firm utilizes both the United States' EDGAR database as well as Canada's SEDAR database.
