Montgomery Out, Hansberger In

CDC Ixis Asset Management North America has tapped Hansberger Global Investors to be one of the three sub-advisors for its CDC Nvest Star Worldwide Fund, a spokesperson with CDC told the 401kWire.com. Hansberger replaces Montgomery Asset Management.

"The fund takes a multi-manager approach and is divided into four segments," the spokesperson reported. "Two different units of Oakmark provide management services as does Loomis Sayles. Both Loomis and Montgomery were in the growth segments, but Hansberger's offering was a growth segment at a more reasonable price. With them on board, it is a better mix of managers."

The changes will take place on March 1, 2002.
