Northwestern Mutual has launched a new website designed to provide support to its financial advisors out in the field. The website is called www.nmfn.com.

The site features personal planning, investment services, and business planning. There is also a learning center that includes calculators and background information on a number of topics including: family matters, college planning, retirement planning, career changes, and wealth and inheritance.

"By highlighting the company's network of products and services online, our dedicated field force is able to strengthen and enhance the relationship they have with their customers and prospects by providing extensive on-line information and expert guidance," contended Conrad York, director of Internet marketing. "This new Web site is part of our corporate initiative to use technology to enhance and extend Northwestern Mutual's business goals."

Visitors to the site will be provided with contact information and links to field representatives of the firm in the visitor's area. The platform is also intended to allow for greater contact between client and advisor.
