Friday, December 14, 2001 Pan-American Taps Five Fund Firms Pan-American Life is readying a new variable life product that will feature investment options from five funds firms when it debuts. The product is in the final stages of preparation and will likely add additional fund options down the road, according to a source at the firm. The initial managers for the fund are Berger Funds, JP Morgan, Invesco, MFS and Dreyfus. The firm has not yet decided what funds will be added after the product is launched. The product will include four portfolios from Berger: Berger IPT-Large Cap Growth, Berger IPT-Small Company Growth, Berger IPT-New Generation and Berger IPT-International.
