Tuesday, October 9, 2001 Turner Hire BizDev Exec Turner Investment Partners has tapped a new head of its business development. The Berywyn, Pennsylvania-based firm hired James J. McBride to replace Todd A. Bitzer as senior business development manager. Bitzer left the $8 billion fund firm to join Systematic Financial Management. McBride, 32, reports to Glenn A. Dever, director of institutional client service and business development and is responsible for developing new business in institutional investment services with consultants and prospective clients in Turner's 18-state Southeast and Midwest regions. He was most recently vice president, institutional marketing and client service, at Penn Capital Management and had been a consultant at Capital Resource Advisors.
