Wednesday, June 20, 2001 Shifting at Merrill Frank McAleer, formerly Director of National Sales & Key Accounts for third-party distribution at Merrill Lynch, is now head of Third-Party Sales. In this role, McAleer will be responsible for the distribution of MLIM products and services through other financial intermediaries. McAleer joined MLIM in 1999 as Eastern Division Director of Third-Party Sales. Previously, he held a variety of key sales roles at Fidelity Investments from 1993 to 1999, including Eastern Division Director for Fidelity's Advisor Funds (bank and broker/dealer market) and National Sales Director for that company's Institutional Brokerage Group.
