Hold onto your seats as American Century plays musical chairs with portfolio managers for three of its funds. The changes are as follows:
  • Linda Peterson, who amassed solid gains for American Century Heritage will take over the $1 billion American Century Giftrust fund. Chris Boyd, John Seitzer, and Tom Telford will remain at the fund until additional managers are named to the poorly performing fund.
  • Jerry Sullivan, formerly a manager for American Century Select, will join James Stowers III, Bruce Wimberly, and John Sykora on the $29 billion American Century Ultra Fund.
  • Tim Reynolds will take Gerard Sullivan's place on the $6 billion American Century Select Fund, thus joining Ken Crawford who is currently at the fund. C. Kim Goodwin has been named an interim manager of the fund.
