Wednesday, August 15, 2001 INVESCO Wins VA Spot INVESCO Funds Group is adding to its distribution through variable annuity funds offered by American Express. The deal will add three sector funds and one growth fund to American Express' variable annuity offerings. The deal results from an aggressive effort on the part of INVESCO to distribute its products into the annuity market, explained Tom Kolbe, vice president and manager of institutional sales at INVESCO. "For over a year, we have worked very hard to increase our presence in the annuity market. Our partnership with American Express is directly in line with our goal of positioning our funds with dynamic financial companies," said Kolbe.
