Wednesday, May 22, 2002 Easing Those Administrative Burdens SEI is launching a new electronic system that is intended to assist mutual fund boards gain efficiency. The platform is e.Boardroom, and it is designed for the administration of mutual fund board materials. e.Boardroom can be utilized to create (electronically) board materials and information. The product will also distribute those materials to a meeting's participants. The material can be compiled, reviewed, and edited in this virtual environment. SEI has beta tested the platform with its own mutual fund boards. "e.Boardroom provides an efficient means to review and organize materials, especially notations and follow-up questions. As a member of the SEI Funds board, I can do a better job because the materials are easy to access and I am able to research and cross-reference the data that I need. Physical files have been nearly eliminated because with e.Boardroom historical data is completely indexed. Online access to annual reports, prospectuses and other reports is a great time and space saver," contended George Sullivan, member of the board of directors at SEI Funds.
