Turner Taps CMO

In a crosstown move, Turner Funds has lured Doff Meyer from Phildelphia-based Delaware Investments. Meyer, who formerly held the position of senior vice president marketing, retail investor services will start on April 23rd in the newly-created position of chief marketing officer.

Meyer was brought on board because of her significant experiences in channel distribution, said sources. In her new position, Meyer will be responsible for coordinating marketing activities for Turner's four main businesses: institutional, mutual funds, subadvisory, and managed accounts.

Previously, Meyer was the principal of Doff Meyer Corporate Communications, which she founded in 1989. She holds a bachelor of fine arts from Boston University.

Officials at both Delaware and Turner were unavailable for comment in time for this story.
