Touchstone Looks Hungry

Cincinnati-based Touchstone wants to add investment styles qua new relationships or outright acquisition, president and chief executive officer Jill McGruder told the MutualFundWire.com.

"We're always looking," said McGruder, mentioning microcap, international, and "true" small-cap growth styles as attractive to the Western-Southern subsidiary. "It's a scale business and our parent has a lot of cash."

The fund complex uses pension consultants BARRA RogersCasey to evaluate asset managers.
