Rydex Gets New Digs

Rydex has moved to accommodate its ballooning staff. After doubling its personnel this year alone, it needed more room. Moving to the new 50,000 square-foot facility has also enabled Rydex to upgrade its communication systems.

Furthermore, the company has brought on a vice president of human resources, John Bachman, and a chief technology officer, Bob Hollinger. Neither has a financial services background.

Rydex has also hired Kevin Farragher, former vice president of information services at the ICI, as director of E-Enterprise. Farragher has already implemented Rydex's on-line trading.

Anna Haglund is now managing Rydex's communications and public relations, having worked in a variety of positions at Scudder Kemper.

Rob Steele, vice president of marketing and product development, was very enthusiastic about the new hires. "We are very pleased to have added such high caliber employees to our staff, which will wholly strengthen Rydex."
