Monday, November 20, 2000 New Sales Tool for Intermediaries Confluence Technologies has just released a sales-level marketing tool aimed at the intermediary channel. The tool is designed to assists intermediaries in presenting fund information to clients. "It allows fund companies to support sales channels with a robust tool," said Confluence president Mark Evans. Evans told MutualFundWire that the software was developed in response to demand by users of the firm's FundStation performance calculation and distribution software. DemandPerformance is primarily intended to be plugged into the secured intermediary-servicing areas of fund Web sites. The new utility allows sales agents to present a variety of mutual fund information to consumers, charting performance, withdrawal options, and other analytical data.
