AIG Targets European Distribution


AIG Asset Management International, Inc. has created a new position to guide its retail fund distribution efforts in Europe. Eric Pittomvils will fill the post as managing director.

Pittomvils will report to Stuart Rogers, president of AIG Asset Management International and work from the Zurich. He will be responsible for building third party distribution channels and developing the firm's European product line for both its AIG and SunAmerica brands.

He joins the insurer from UBS where he was country head of Benelux and Northern Europe. While at UBS he worked in marketing, development of private label funds and international fund distribution. Prior to UBS he worked for Cedel Bank, now known as Clearstream, with the ultimate position of vice president and manager of Central Europe.
