PFPC Goes to the Continent

PFPC continues global expansion with its new Luxembourg office. Slated to open in December, the office will provide the company with access to Luxembourg's financial center; funds operating in the tiny country must keep administration within its borders.

PFPC already has two international offices, one nearby in Dublin, and one servicing offshore accounts in Grand Cayman. The Irish office has been so successful that another is planned in County Wexford.

"We are discussing with Irish officials opening another office in 2001," said PFPC spokesman John Klingenstein. With the strength of foreign markets, Klingenstein does not deny the possibility of further expansion into Asia. "We're really looking for all sorts of global opportunities," he said. "You can see for yourself where growth may occur."
