The two new funds will have an initial subscription period of 29 days -- the funds are being offered at $5 per share through AC or Charles Schwab. The funds are also being offered in additional share classes for financial intermediaries and institutional investors.

The Life Sciences Fund will be managed by Arnie Douville and Christy Turner, while Chris Boyd and Doug Day will manage the Technology Fund.

"A major catalyst will be the aging U.S. population which will lead to strong demand for life sciences products and services," said Douville. "Also genomics -- the study of human genes -- should lead to a greater understanding of diseases for which new drugs and therapeutic technologies will be developed."
