E*TRADE recently underwent a transition of leadership from Brian Murray, the former president of E*TRADE Asset Management to Amy Errett, recently hired from Spectrem Grouup as chief asset gatherer.

It has also redesignated her division as the E*TRADE "Asset Gathering" Group, and is now fleshing out the division as the online broker has announced four new additions to this group.

Liat Rorer has joined E*TRADE as the key business leader - mutual funds, with responsibility for the mutual fund and asset managment businesses. Prior to joining E*TRADE, she had worked with Errett as a senior consultant at Spectrem Group.

Barry Schub, the former president of United Asset Management retirement services, will be the new key business leader - business-to-business services. He will be responsible for the institutional side of the business, developing and expanding the B-to-B focus with an emphasis on the 401(K) business.

In addition, Sam Mancino will be the new key business leader - retirement, and Mindy Posoff joins E*TRADE from CS First Boston as the key business leader of asset gathering business development.
