"Because I've consulted with First American Asset Management for nearly two years, I feel I know the firm well, its broad depth of talent and resources, and its strong commitment to the high net worth client," said Brunel.

Since 1998 he has consulted with high net worth families and the asset management institutions that serve them, including First American Asset Management. Brunel is also the editor of the Journal of Private Portfolio Management, published by Institutional Investor.

Prior to 1998, Brunel had been at J.P. Morgan for 23 years, the last eight as chief investment officer of the firm's global private bank.
