The Boston Company Asset Management, a subsidiary of Mellon Financial, has made two additions to its business development team. Dennis Sheehan will take over business development in the Midwest and Canada, and Tim Smith will head marketing efforts to pension fund consultants.

Sheehan comes from ABN Amro's Chicago office, where he worked in marketing and client service. Smith was most recently at Pioneer Investment Management in Boston, where he was involved in marketing to consultants and plan sponsors.
