New CFO at Scudder Kemper


Scudder Kemper will be replacing its current chief financial officer with an executive from PricewaterhouseCoopers on February 7. Harold Kahn will be joining the New York global asset manager after 23 years with PwC and will have oversight of the global finance organization, operating and financial plans, and business analysis.

Stephen Beckwith, the current CFO, a Scudder Kemper employee for 32 years, will remain with Scudder Kemper and provide "strategic and other specialized support," according to a statement. A company spokesperson added that Beckwith will continue to work on "specific finance- related projects and will handle a variety of roles within the finance division."
