Ivy Reopens Fund, Hires Scudder Manager


Ivy Mackenzie, investment advisor to the Ivy Funds, has hired Sheridan Reilly as senior vice president and chief investment officer -- international equities.

Reilly will take over as portfolio manager for the Ivy International Fund, which Ivy is re-opening for new investment. He will replace Hakan Castegren, manager of the fund since its inception in 1986, who has resigned.

Prior to joining Ivy, Reilly had been head of the institutional international equities team at Scudder Kemper Investments. Reilly had been part of the management team for the Scudder International Fund as well as manager of the Scudder International Growth and Income Fund, the Kemper International Growth and Income Fund and the AARP International Stock Fund.
