Great-West Adds Funds

Great-West is making changes to its fund lineup fund lineup for 401(k) retirement plan sponsors. The changes will occur on August 25, 2000.

Changes will be made to the Core 13 (Used for start-up plans and plans with less than $1 million in assets). Great-West will be adding five funds to the Core lineup, bringing the total number of investment options to 18. The new funds will be: Orchard Dow Index fund, Orchard NASDAQ 100 Index fund, Dreyfus Emerging Leaders, Invesco Dynamics and the Lord Abbett Growth Opportunities fund.

Changes will also be made to the Core Plus package - going from 23 to 28 (Also available to plans with less than $ 1 million in them).

The Core Plus lineup will also increase by five, moving from 23 to 28 investment options. The new five in the Core Plus will include four of the additions to the Core, but not the Dreyfus Emerging Leaders addition because that Dreyfus fund is already a part of Core Plus. Besides the four from the Core the Core Plus will add the Berger Small Company Growth fund.

Plans with more than $1 million can continue to choose from the 50 Fund Array PLUS the new Dow Index, the NASDAQ 100 INDEX, Invesco Dynamics, Lord Abbett Growth Opp's and Berger Small Company Growth. Plans with more than $20 million will continue to have Great-West's 700 fund NAV line up.
