Announcing new service offerings, the Quicken 401k Advisor site will have a "401(K) Advisor" through which a participant can enter the company name, followed by automatic recall of the mutual fund options in his/her plan. The participant can then retrieve free advice and if they want, call a personal registered investment advisor for $49.95. Most online advice products charge $30 to $60 per participant. This is the first time online advice is being offered for free to participants. Morningstar does offer a free advice product for plans with 5,000 or more participants.
