Raymond J. Sims has been named as the cfo for Financial Engines, Inc. Sims previously served as a senior vice president at Raychem Corporation, where he successfully negotiated a transaction with Tyco (NYSE: TYC)for the acquisition of Raychem.

Sims will report to Jeff Maggioncalda, president and CEO.
