Wednesday, November 17, 1999 TD Waterhouse Unveils Advisor Website TD Waterhouse Group has announced the launch of a new institutional website for financial advisors, called "Veo" ("to see" in Latin), slated to be up and running in December 1999.
"We wanted Veo to be much more than a trading tool, so we also incorporated customizable account information for financial advisors and for their clients," Peter Mangan, executive vice president, TD Waterhouse Institutional Services. The advisor site will allow site customization for frequently used functions, perform administrative tasks like reviewing billing records, consolidate trading tools to place equity or mutual fund trades in single or block trades, and provide online communication between TD Waterhouse and advisors. The client site will provide ability for advisors' clients to view their accounts, offer access and customization for activity and assets on single accounts or across multiple accounts, and ability to place equity and mutual fund orders online, upon agreement between the advisor and client.
