Bill Berger, Berger Funds' Founder, Dead at 73


The Berger Group of Funds has confirmed that its founder, Bill Berger, has died in a Denver hospital at the age of 73. Berger had a history of heart disease, but the exact cause of death is unknown.

    Berger retired in 1994 from all management responsibilities at the company when he sold an 80% stake to Kansas City Southern Industries.
