Strong Funds' Retirement Sales Head Resigns

Phil Stambaugh has resigned from Strong Funds, where he was national sales manager, to pursue other interests. Stambaugh led the Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based fund company's sales efforts in the 401(k) and qualifed plan area.

A spokesperson confirmed that Stambough's last day at the company was last Wednesday. Whether Stambough is landing at another job inside of the 401(k) business could not be confirmed by the spokesperson. She would not comment on how Stambough's responsibilities at Strong would be filled.

Stambaugh reported to Tony D'Amato, director of retirement plan services.
