Calvert Pumps Up Marketing Team


Looks like the Calvert Group might have put its executive marketing team in place with the new hire of Suzanne Tosini, in the newly-created position of vice president of market development.

Tosini will oversee strategic planning and new initiative processes aimed at new business opportunities for the Bethesda, Maryland fund complex, reporting to Reggie Stanley, senior vice president of marketing. Additionally, Tosini is expected to develop market research initiatives, marketing measurements, and reports.

Calvert expanded its marketing department in recent months in an effort to build an integrated marketing stategy, with the previously reported hire of Jeanette LeBlanc and Stanley himself.

"The search has been on for almost a year," said a Calvert spokesperson. "Even though it looks like everyone has come on at once."

Most recently a director in corporate finance at Freddie Mac in McLean, Virgina, Tosini holds a BA from Duke and a Penn MBA.

Calvert Group has approximately $7.0 billion in assets under management.
