Time to Turnerize!

Despite recent attention to its new managed accounts business and the expansion of its mutual fund family, Turner Investment Partners is not neglecting the sub-advisory dimension of its business. The Berwyn, Pennsylvania firm has brought on two new regional account executives to help push its sub-advisory services.

Phillip Meyer, who joined the firm last week, is based in Texas. Meyer had been a vice president of sales based out of South Lake, Texas, at Rittenhouse Financial Services, a Turner neighbor. Less than a month ago, Turner lifted three of Rittenhouse's wholesalers for its new separate accounts business.

Peter Whitman had been the director of sales at Chicago-based Brinson Partners, operating out of New York. Whitman, now based in Connecticut, started with Turner this week.

Both report to John Lehning, national business development director. They are the first hires for the new department, which had been formed in December.
