BlackRock Sees Changes in its C-Level Ranks


There has been a slew of changes within the the senior ranks at BlackRock. Bob Doll, vice chairman and global chief investment officer of fundamental equities, now sports the title of chief equity strategist.

The CIO for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Quintin Price, has taken on Doll's duties as head of fundamental equities in addition to his current role.

BlackRock spokesperson Brian Beades confirmed the changes.

The CIO for scientific active equity and leader of BlackRock's Australia SAE business, Morry Waked, is leaving the company in the third quarter.

BlackRock vice chair Blake Grossman, who served as CEO of Barclays Global Investors prior to its acquisition by BlackRock, has taken on Waked's duties as CIO. Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson has succeeded Waked in his Australia SAE post.
