BlackRock Makes Another Acquisition

BlackRock, which purchased Barclays Global Investors last year, has made another acquisition. The New York City-based firm bought Helix Financial Group, Charlotte-based provider of advisory valuation and analytics solutions to commercial real estate lenders and investors, for an undisclosed sum. The deal closed January 15.
