Tuesday, January 5, 2010 Huntington Funds Goes Global Huntington Funds introduced its newest offering Monday, the Huntington Global Select Markets Fund. The fund, which is managed by Huntington Asset Advisors vice president Paul Attwood, will look for global market exposure through investments in, but not limited to, emerging market countries. The fund carries an expense ratio of 191 basis points for institutional class shares and 216 bps for class A shares, according to the SEC filing. "In the Huntington Global Select Markets Fund, we identify countries that are not just developing nations, but those that are exhibiting what we believe are superior characteristics in terms of fiscal responsibility and monetary policies. We also look for specific actions they are taking to capitalize on their natural resources - particularly those we feel may take precedence in the markets to come," stated Randy Bateman, president of Huntington Asset Advisors.
