Wednesday, October 28, 2009 Calamos Returns to the Black The stock market plunge of 2008 and 2009 has been painful for Calamos Asset Management, but things are looking up. The Naperville, Illinois-based asset manager posted net income of $2.59 million in the third quarter, compared to a loss of $799,000 in the year-ago period. Calamos' AUM rose $3.5 billion in Q3 to $30.5 billion at the end of September. Revenues increased 10 percent from Q2, to $73.8 million.
