Tuesday, October 27, 2009 Van Eck Thinks Small With a New India ETF Van Eck filed for a new exchange-traded fund last week, the Market Vectors India Small-Cap ETF. The fund will track the Market Vectors India Small-Cap Index. Expense ratios have not yet been determined. Hao-Hung (Peter) Liao and George Cao will serve as portfolio managers. The index tracks securities of 225 Indian companies with market capitalizations between $150 million and $1.2 billion. IndexUniverse reports that there are three others India ETFs on the market right now; each investing mainly in large-cap companies.
