Rod Stewart Rocks the Baron Conference

Rod Stewart took the stage Friday afternoon as the surprise guest at the 18th Annual Baron Investment Conference. About 4,000 investors attended the event at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City.

Entertainers at previous Baron conferences include Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, Jerry Seinfeld, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Sir Elton John, Cher, Billy Crystal and Bette Midler.

Also at the event last week, Baron Capital Group chairman and CEO Ron Baron revealed that the firm is prepping a real estate fund, due out at the end of December. (Baron himself manages the Baron Growth Fund, the Baron Partners Fund and the Baron Retirement Income Fund.)

Aside from Baron, others speakers included:
