Friday, September 18, 2009 Columbia Gives Moore Duties to a C-Level Exec Stephen Peacher's jump to Sun Life Financial this week left the fixed income and liquidity strategies team at Bank of America's Columbia Management without a leader. Columbia's chief investment officer has stepped in to fill the void. Bank of America spokesman Matt Card confirmed that Colin Moore will take over for Peacher. “Effective immediately, Columbia Management’s Fixed Income and Liquidity Strategies team will be led by Colin Moore, Columbia Management CIO and head of Alternative Investments,” Card told the MFWire in an e-mailed statement. “The Fixed Income and Liquidity Strategies leadership team will now report to Colin.” Card said that the expansion of Moore's role will not change investment strategy. “Columbia's investment process, strategy and philosophy will remain the same for the fixed income and liquidity strategies products,” Card said.
