Strong Unveils New Web & Funds

Strong Financial Services has taken the wraps off an upgraded Web site for its customers. The new site is divided into four sub-sites to serve its different distribution channels.

"Over the years, our web presence has grown to serve an increasingly diverse range of clients. Our new look helps efficiently direct investors to the proper areas on our site while showcasing our diverse products and services," said Brian Melter, director of E-Commerce for Strong Financial.

The four specialized areas target the individuals (the direct channel), workplace retirement plans for its 401(k) channel, institutional investors and financial professionals for the advisor channel.

Investors can log directly into the appropriate partition of the site from the new front page. They can also select that partition as their regular start page to go directly to the section that is relevant to them.

The firm also opened three new funds this week. The new offerings are the Strong All Cap Value managed by I. Charles Rinaldi, and two funds managed by Robert J. Costomiris: Strong Strategic Value and Strong Small Company Value.

The new funds fall into the recent pattern of firms broadening their small company and value offerings. Those sectors are currently the best performing in the market.
