Friday, August 14, 2009 Transamerica Makes a Bevy of Sub-Advisor Switches Transamerica Asset Management is making several sub-advisor changes effective next month in its line of Transamerica Partners Funds. According to an SEC filing, Transamerica will end its sub-advisory agreement with BlackRock Financial Management for the Transamerica Partners Large Core Portfolio. Aronson+Johnson +Ortiz LP will continue as sub-advisor. In addition, it will terminate its sub-advisory agreement with Marsico Capital Management for the Transamerica Partners Large Growth Portfolio and enter into an agreement with Jennison Associates. OFI Institutional Asset Management and Wellington Management will remain sub-advisors. For the Transamerica Partners Mid Value Portfolio, Transamerica will terminate agreements with LSV Asset Management and RiverSource Investments, and will enter into a relationship with JPMorgan Investment Management. Cramer, Rosenthal, McGlynn LLC will continue with its sub-advisory duties. Transamerica will also end its agreement with OFI Institutional Asset Management for the Transamerica Partners Small Value Portfolio. Mesirow Financial Investment Management will continue as sub-advisor. The changes will take effect on or about September 16, the filing stated.
